Candidate Nomination


The current MPP for Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound, Rick Byers, recently announced that he will not be running in the next Ontario Election.

The Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound PC Association has set up a Candidate Nomination Committee and are preparing for the upcoming Nomination Meeting; date to be determined.

The committee is responsible for seeking potential candidates who are seriously interested in becoming the next Member of Provincial Parliament for this riding.

The Committee will also organize the upcoming Nomination Meeting that will be open to all PC members in good standing. Committee members must remain neutral throughout and comply with all aspects of the Rules Governing Candidate Nominations as outlined by the PC Party of Ontario.
